The effective sentences in prison for the former Juventus directors Luciano Modzi and Antonio Džiraudo were cancelled.
After the debate, the Supreme Court of Cassation of Italy took the charges to two. Modži had a 28-month prison sentence, and the Džiraudo had to lie in custody 20 months. The two were the main defendants in the 'Calciopoli' scandal that shook Italian football nine years ago.
Former chiefs of Juventus were charged that they have created a network of contacts with judges and enemy players and have fixed matches. Because of the scandal took two titles Juventus in 2005 and 2006, and the team was demoted to the Serie b.
