Leicester again replaced Manchester City in second place in the Premier League provisional standings after defeating Watford at King Power Stadium 2-0. The Foxes `goalie Jamie Vardy opened the penalty box in the 55th minute and James Madison sealed the hosts` success in the fifth minute of added time. It was Brendan Rodgers` seventh consecutive Premier League win.
