The Japanese Football Association was the final rights in the talks with the Bosnian Vahid Halilhodzic specialist and most likely he will assume the post of national coach.
The President of the Federation Kunia Daini said before the meetings with Tunisia and Uzbekistan at the end of March Halilhodzic likely will be appointed officially. The Japanese Federation will continue to bet on the foreign coaches who have experience and knowledge to provide new skills of football players from the country, Daini said. Former national coach Javier Aguirre, Mexican was fired in February after about his name appeared too much information that's involved in arranged matches.
The Board of the Federation shall meet to specify the contract of the 62-year old Bosnian on 12 March and the matches are 27-and with Tunisia and four days later with Uzbekistan. Halilhodzic has significant experience of the World Championships after 2010 leads Ivory Coast, and last summer in Brazil made a furore with the team of Algeria.
