The player of Tottenham, Andros Townsend warned his players that he could not find an excuse, if he fails in his attempt to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
After the Spurs fell with 0:2 against Chelsea in the final of the League Cup and were eliminated by Fiorentina in the Europa League, the Championship remains their only chance to secure a place in the European club tournaments for the next campaign.
Currently, the Londoners are six points behind the fourth Manchester United, as have a game in hand. Just for this reason, Townsend believes that there is no room for error.
'We dropped out from two tournaments, but that only makes us more hungry in the battle for fourth place in the Premier League.', said the Englishman.
