The agent of Samir Handanovic stated that his client wishes to proceed with Inter , but for that to happen, both sides should reach 'economic agreement' on a new contract.
Slovenian national over the years established itself as one of the best goalkeepers in Serie a and is always associated with other teams, among whom are mentioned as Roma and Liverpool. His contract expires in the summer of 2016, and currently there is no development in the talks for the renewal.
'Lately we have had several meetings with Inter, to clarify what each of the parties.', said Handanovic's agent — Federico Pastorelo.
'There is a desire to renew the contract and relationship with the Club are excellent. The player is willing to stay, but we have to see whether the economic agreement will be achieved.'
'I met Walter Sabatini (Sports Director of Roma), but he never asked me about Handanovic. Apparently you can monitor it because seeking a future goalie - Morgan De Sanktis is of a certain age. Personally, I've not been contacted by Roma in connection with Handanovic.', added Pastorelo.
