Rooney almost got United in a sponsorship scandal 5.08.2015

The striker of Manchester United, Wayne Rooney almost brought the club into a scandal with one of the sponsors. The English national decided to greet Bastian Schweinsteiger on his birthday, having released a photo on Facebook.
The two posed for lens, embrace the friendly, but the problem came up at this very moment. The players of ‘Red Devils’ are dressed in t-shirts of Nike. Exactly the same day, 1 August, the club had to start to perform its sponsor’ contract with Adidas, which is signed for a record 750 million pounds.
According to sources of The Sun, the players were informed of the day that have to change their teams, but perhaps Wayne Rooney has not read the message.
Adidas officials however were not happy with what happened.
