Gilardino joined Palermo 28.08.2015

The former Italian international Alberto Gilardino became a player of Palermo, the club's official website reported.
The attacker left Guangzhou to sign a three-year contract with Palermo.
'The negotiations have continued more than two months, but I'm happy with the result. Palermo was the only team that has shown a genuine interest in me and I will try to compensate a lot of goals.', said Gilardino.
Palermo will be the eighth Italian club in the career of the 33-year-old striker after Piacenza, Verona, Parma, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Genoa and Bologna.
