The leadership of Rennes is not going to be an obstacle for their striker Ola Toivonen, if Sunderland wants to become his permanent transfer.
The Swedish national was one of three players who arrived at the 'Stadium of light' this summer as assigned. Unlike half Jan m villa in the treaty of Toivonen, there weren't clause for redeeming, but obviously that won't be a problem.
Now Sunderland takes on the full salary of the 29-year-old player that comes around 25,000 pounds a week. In Rennes, they are more than satisfied, since the remuneration of Toivonen was one of serious at the club.
The French club were desperate buyers for the Swede in the summer, but neither Sunderland nor the other interested – PAOK was willing to buy it. Toivonen has a contract with Rennes until 2017, after the end of the campaign, Rennes would be willing to sell it for around 2 million pounds.
