Gumbau: 'Camp Nou is huge.' 22.09.2015

The young footballer Gerard Gumbau, who made his debut for FC Barcelona in La Liga with a 4:1 victory against Levante in the match of the fourth round of the Spanish Championship said he did not expect 'Camp Nou' to be so huge and inspiring.
Gumbau in just one year has come all the way from the fourth level of the Spanish football until the first team of Barcelona, Luis Enrique voted confidence in the match against Levante and 20-year-old footballer even made his debut for the Blaugranas, after having appeared in the game in the second half in place of Sergio Busquets.
'I was very impressed."Camp Nou is a very big, huge. It's very inspiring. My feelings were indescribable.', said Gumbau.
'To play for the first team of Barcelona is the maximum that I ever expected.', added the midfielder.
'I am aware that I have to fight for my place in the squad. Nothing is guaranteed and you have to fight every single day, every single workout. I am aware and with competition in the team. In Barcelona are only the best players in the world. It motivates me even more to prove myself.', said Gerard Gumbau.
