The player of Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas, spoke frankly and acknowledged that his career has had cases of negotiations with Real Madrid on the occasion of the transfer in the Spanish grand.
The 28-year-old footballer is a product of the Youth Academy of FC Barcelona and therefore his confession is even more curious. The midfielder left Catalonia as a teenager to move to Arsenal, where he lasted 8 seasons. In 2011, he returned to Barca, where he lasted three years, before moving to Chelsea.
From his words, it is not clear exactly when negotiations took place with Real, but more interestingly, there were no such a few times over the years.
'There were contacts with various Presidents (of Real Madrid – b. b.) before a few years, but a deal was never concluded. We discussed the conditions but at no time been reached an agreement. The crucial step was never taken.', said Cesc.
