The star of Sassuolo, Domenico Berardi, will suffer a penalty of three games because of his rough events during the game with Genoa.
The striker was sent off with a straight red card in a 1:2 defeat on Saturday because kicked Christian Ansaldi groin seconds after the latter fouled out.
The teammate of Ansaldi, Diego Perotti, immediately confronted Berardi and put his forehead in his, who also was sent off. However, his penalty would be only 1 match.
Not for the first time, Berardi drops his nerves on the pitch and his coach Eusebio di Francesco admitted that the behaviour of the young man is starting to become a problem.
So far in his career 21-year-old footballer was banished three times – each of the red cards was a direct one – and has received a total of 27 goals in 71 matches from the Calcio. Berardi is a leader in the ranking of getting cards for the past 3 years.
