Yaya Toure is with a consecutive nomination for player of Africa 15.12.2015

Toure has a chance to win for the fifth time the prize for African Footballer of the year after he was among the three nominees for the award for the year 2015.
The Manchester City midfielder will fight for the prize along with Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund and Andre Au from Swansea City. Last year, Toure became the first football player who won the award four times in a row.
The winner in the ranking is determined by a vote of the captains and coaches of member countries of the African Football Association. Toure was the captain of the team of Cote d'Ivoire, who in February won the African Nations Cup for the first time in 23 years, once had a 9:8 against Ghana in a dramatic penalty shootout in the final. The winner of the poll will be announced on January 7 next year at a ceremony in Nigeria.
