Arsenal will be without Alexis Sanchez and about the upcoming game against Sunderland for FA Cup, despite expectations that he will be back.
He is out of the pitch, since groin pull got in the game against Norwich at the end of November, and although there was hope to be ready in December, that didn't happen.
'The bad news is that Alexis is not yet ready. We have to be careful with him, so he's going to need a few more days. His condition is not bad, but he's not ready.', said Wenger.
He did not reveal when he'd be back but Sanchez, his participation in the match against Liverpool in the middle of next week does not seem very likely.
The captain Mikel Arteta perhaps will have minutes against Sunderland, after recovering from his injury and played 45 minutes for the youths against Blackburn. Tomas Rosicky will start training next week, normal and Casorla and Koklen recovered well.
