Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Poland and Slovakia are serial football federations, who have announced their support to Gianni Infantino in the upcoming election for President of FIFA at the end of February.
The President announced that the football headquarters of Austria Leo Vintner after a meeting of the six federations of the countries of Central Europe.
'Our candidate is Gianni Infantino.', said Vintner.
Russia, Italy and Moldova also have already announced their support for the elections to Infantino on February 26.
Vintner called on all European federations to vote for Infantino and added that 'UEFA does not always act together but it will be necessary to make the Congress of FIFA'.
The five contenders for the Presidency in FIFA's Prince Ali of Jordan, Sheikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Gianni Infantino, currently Secretary General of UEFA, the former Deputy Secretary General of FIFA'S Jerome Champagne and Tokyo Seksvale, the former Minister of construction of the South Africa.
