The star of Napoli Lorenzo Insignie admitted that he work extremely hard to be included in the team of Antonio Conte for the European Championships in the summer.
The 24-year-old striker has 11 goals and 10 assists for southerners since the beginning of the season and became one of the great stars of Serie A. In Napoli, they even talk that Insignie deserves to wear the t-shirt with no 10, which is removed from use because of Diego Maradona.
Insignie was drafted into the national in October but was dropped from the lineup because of an injury. Days later, however, he played for Napoli, which pissed off Conte.
'I work very hard to regain my trust. I hope I get drafted as soon as possible.', said Insignie.
The striker added that Napoli hasn't given up on the title and will fight to the end. 'Many want to win the Scudetto. We knew that against Milan it won't be easy, but we played our game. However, there are still a lot of time and won't give it up not for a moment.', added the striker.
