The agent of the deceased player of Dinamo Bucharest Patrick Ekeng, Hassan Anil Eken revealed that the main blame for the death of his client's slow response of the ambulance.
'Patrick was a great professional and he was so young. He could have been saved. He signed with Dynamo a few months ago. And there were no problems of medical examinations. Patrick is not the first player who died on the pitch, but I hope to be the last one. The ambulance came much later, after about three minutes.', said the agent.
'There were at least three ambulances at the stadium, but none of them had a defibrillator. I think of each stadium must have small clinics. I don't think that their funding is a big problem for the clubs.', said the agent.
Ekeng collapsed during a meeting of the League between Dinamo and Vitorul (Constanţa) and died later in a hospital.
