Officially: Schmeichel signed a new contract with Leicester until 2021. 9.08.2016

The Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel signed a new five-year contract with the club.
The 29-year-old Danish international joined the club from Leeds in 2011 and there are more than 200 matches with the team of the Foxes.
The Danish goalkeeper has been playing in all 38 matches of the team last season when Leicester surprisingly won the title in the Premiership.
'Since I've been at the club we were able to make some huge steps in its development and it has always been fantastic.', said Schmeichel.
