Philipp Lahm is quitting football 31.08.2016

Philipp Lahm has no intention to extend his contract with Bayern Munich and plans to end with football in 2018. The player of Bavarians once remarked that he thought a lot about that but he does not intend to change his mind.
At the end of his contract in June 2018, Lahm will be 34 years old.
'For a long time I considered the options, but I'm not going to go on his contract. I want to walk away from the big sport healthy.', said Lahm.
Last season he took part in 26 matches of the German colossus from the League.
