Stuttgart remained without a coach. This happened after former mentor Jos Luhukau asked for his contract to be terminated by 2019 prematurely after a dispute with sporting director Jan Schindelmeizer.
The 53-year-old professional wants compensation.
'That step was not taken lightly by me because in my first weeks in Stuttgart I felt the confidence of fans, the team and the managers.', said Luhukay.
The basis of his work, however, has always been 'the same vision of all sports executives in line and running a sports-technical activity and implicitly trust the managers in my work. This basis is no longer available in Stuttgart.'
