Arsenal striker is a contender for the prize 'Player of Africa' 5.10.2016

The Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi is one of the contenders for the prize 'Player of Africa', according to the former coach of the national team of Nigeria Sunday Oliseh.
The 20-year-old Iwobi was brilliant in the ranks of the Gooners this season and secured a permanent place in the team. Riyad Mahrez from Leicester is the favourite to win the award, after taking the title in the Premier League and has shown outstanding form this year.
Oliseh, however, believes that among the contenders, who have a chance is also the rookie of the Gunners.
Last year's winner was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Yaya Toure was the second and the award for the third place went to Andre Ayew.
