Zlatan Ibrahimovic will undergo surgery of the knee in Pittsburgh (United States) on Wednesday. The Manchester United striker received a damage to the knee ligaments during a rematch against the Belgian Anderlecht from Europa League last Thursday.
The 35-year-old Swedish footballer said he did not intend to terminate his career and he wants to return to the pitch stronger.
Manchester United qualified for the semi-finals for the UEFA Cup, where the team will face the Spanish Celta Vigo.
