Parks wins 12th consecutive indoor win 13.02.2023

Alicia Parks beat Petra Martic in the second round of the tournament in Lyon - 2:6, 7:6, 6:2.

For Parks, this is the 12th consecutive victory on indoor hard. She won 10 previous ones at the end of last season, winning the WTA 125 tournaments in Andorra and Angers.

The 22-year-old American reached the quarter-finals of the tour level for the second time in her career. The first was last year in Ostrava, when during the tournament she beat Karolina Pliskova and Maria Sakkari.

Now Parks will compete with Danka Kovinic or Anna Bondar.
