Jordan blamed Wittich for ruining Verstappen`s qualifying. Former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan is convinced that Nils Wittich, who served as race director, deliberately acted against Red Bull driver Max Verstappen at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The three-time world champion failed to qualify as he was unable to make his final attempt due to red flags. They appeared 40 seconds after Aston Martin`s Lance Stroll crashed, but Verstappen was in 11th place anyway and did not advance further. Jordan discussed the incident with David Coulthard, ex-Red Bull driver and co-host of the Formula For Success podcast.
