Carlos Alcaraz commented on the defeat from Alexander Zverev in the final. The Spaniard lost his second match in the group and failed to reach the semi-finals.
– Every player wants to be in the final, wants to go through the bracket as far as he can. This year I had both great tournaments and very bad ones. My goal is to always be in the game. Reach at least the semi-finals, finals, give myself a chance to win every tournament I come to. So I need to work. Thank God I`m young, I`m still very young, so hopefully I have many years to achieve this goal.
I will go to pre-season training, we will discuss with the team and see where I need to improve next year. And I`ll try to work on it. This is my goal. Hopefully in 2025 I will be a more consistent player.

Yes, I played a lot of decisive points during the season. For example, today in the tiebreaker I played very good plays when I was losing 2:5. At the same time, when I had chances on his serve at 15:40, 30:40, I hit out twice. At such moments, I realize that I am not ready for battle.
In some matches I am unstable at these moments. Perhaps someday I will play incredible pranks and games. But in some matches I make a lot of mistakes when I have chances. I need to work on this and become more stable.
But I`m glad I know where I can improve.
