The Globe Soccer Awards finalists for women`s soccer have been announced. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Lyon were shortlisted for the Women`s Club of the Year award.
Barcelona was named the Women`s Club of the Year in 2023.
The finalists in the Best Women`s Player category were Aitana Bonmati (Spain team, Barcelona), Lucy Bronze (England team, Chelsea), Tabitha Chawinga (Malawi team, Lyon), Caroline Hansen (Norway team, Barcelona), Julia Gwynne (German team, Bayern), Lauren James (England team, Chelsea), Eva Payor (Poland team, Barcelona), Salma Paralluelo (Spain national team, Barcelona), Alexia Putellas (Spain national team, Barcelona), Maia Ramirez (Colombia national team, Chelsea), Khadija Shaw (Jamaica national team, Manchester City) and Glodys Viggosdottir (Iceland national team, Bayern).
Aitana Bonmati was named the best female footballer of 2023.
The Globe Soccer Awards ceremony will take place in Dubai on December 27th.
