Real Madrid could sign Hermoso in January amid injuries to defenders. Ex-Atlético Madrid player is not against returning to La Liga (Marca) 7.12.2024

Real Madrid are considering signing Mario Hermoso in January. According to Marca, the Roma defender, who previously played for Atletico Madrid, was included in the list of potential reinforcements for Real Madrid`s defense amid the injury situation. It is noted that Los Blancos value Hermoso`s ability to play in several positions, his ability to work with the ball and his experience in the Champions League. In addition, despite adapting well to Serie A, Hermoso would not mind returning to La Liga.
Hermoso is a product of Real Madrid - he played for Real Madrid C and Castilla and left the club in 2017. The Spaniard spent 5 seasons with Atlético, after which he left the club as a free agent and moved to Roma.
Note that Hermoso scored twice against Real Madrid as part of Atlético: in the match of the 6th round of La Liga on September 18, 2022 and in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup on January 19, 2023.
