Fernando Caceres`s wife died after falling from a house window. As reported by As, citing Telefe Noticias, Raquel Candia, the wife of the former Argentina and Celta national team defender, died on Monday after falling from the seventh floor from the window of their apartment in Buenos Aires.
According to police, Caceres was the only person in the apartment with his wife at the time of the incident. The victim`s family blamed the former football player for her death.
One of the victim`s brothers said that the relationship between the couple was quite aggressive on the part of Cáceres and accused him of abuse, Clarín reports.
He kept her trapped and did not allow her to leave. He constantly put pressure on her and did not allow her to spend Sundays with her family, Raquel`s brother said.
The police have not yet ruled out any version of what happened. The results of the autopsy will help advance the investigation.
