A Liverpool staff Christmas party ended in a search. The Daily Mail reports that a lavish event was held at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday evening, which was attended by approximately 500 club workers. It was interrupted after an emergency situation arose that required the intervention of doctors.
It is noted that as a result of the emergency, fears arose that drugs were being taken at the party. An inspection of the toilets revealed empty miniature bags, which are often used to store illegal substances. The decision was made not to continue the event.
Daily Mail writes that it was eventually determined that the emergency was not related to drug use, and the injured employee was taken to hospital and is now feeling well.
It is believed that neither head coach Arne Slot nor Liverpool players were at the party.
