Jets will part ways with Rodgers at season`s end (ESPN, SNY) 28.12.2024

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will leave the New York Jets at the end of the season.
An anonymous source close to the situation told ESPN this week that he would be shocked if Rodgers remained with the club next season.
Sports New York also reported that the Jets would like to make a quarterback change this offseason.
According to CBS Sports journalist and former NFL agent Joel Corry, after an Achilles injury, the 40-year-old Rodgers has serious physical difficulties and cannot effectively move in the envelope.
If the Jets release Rodgers after June 1, they will save $10 million in salary cap space.
This season Rogers has won 3 wins in 11 matches. He completed 63. 4% of his passes for 2, 442 yards with 17 touchdowns to 7 interceptions. His passer rating (88. 9) ranks 21st in the league.
