Bruckheimer spoke about difficult negotiations with Red Bull before filming F1. Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of the new F1 racing film, said Red Bull was worried about its image.
The film is about the fictional Apex team, starring Brad Pitt, and co-produced and consulted by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton.
It`s interesting that since we joined forces with Mercedes, other teams said: Wait a second, this is a Mercedes movie and we`re going to look bad. Red Bull said: We will be the villains.
It took three years to convince him that he wouldn’t be a villain team, and finally we got to the point where all the teams were inclined to help us, ” the producer shared the story.
Bruckheimer responded to the question of why such a name was chosen:
