Jovan Buha: Rob Pelinka said the Lakers believe in this roster 3.01.2025

The Lakers won`t be making any changes to their current roster anytime soon. This was reported by The Athletic insider Jovan Buha.
I thought they should have done the deal before the 2024 deadline. I thought they should have made the deal last offseason, so I`m in the camp of making the deal ASAP.
But based on the information that has come from the Lakers, information from sources around the organization, information from third parties, it looks like the situation will drag on until January, if not until the February 6 deadline, Buha said.
When asked about possible trades that would improve the team`s championship chances, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka responded: We believe in this roster. However, he noted that it will take about 30 matches to properly assess what they have this season.
