Kings general manager Monte McNair is not at risk of being fired 9.01.2025

Monte McNair will remain as Sacramento`s general manager. According to The Athletic, McNair is protected from dismissal and has the full support of club owner Vivec Ranadivé.
Since McNair was hired in 2020, the Kings have made just one playoff appearance.
Yesterday the club fired head coach Mike Brown. Brown arrived prior to the 22-23 season and led Sacramento to the playoffs for the first time since 2006, earning Coach of the Year honors. This summer he signed a new agreement (30 million for 3 years).
