Yakub Dobesh is the 4th goalkeeper in the history of Montreal with Shatout in a debut match in the NHL. The 23-year-old Czech goalkeeper reflected all 34 shots of Florida in the game of the regular championship (4:0) and was recognized as the first star.  
Before him in the history of Canadiens there were only 3 goalkeepers who played to zero in a debut match. This is Bob Perrault (1955), Wayne Thomas (1973) and Jan Dani (2005).  
Among the current goalkeepers of the league, Czech became the second with such an achievement - the first was John Gibson (ANAHAM, 2014).  
Dobesh was chosen by the Canadian club at the NHL-2020 draft under the total 136th number in the 5th round. In North America, he has been performing from 16 years old.  
In the current season, Yakub also spent 14 matches for Laval in AHL - 9 victories, 91, 0% of saves, reliability coefficient of 2, 44.
