Alex de Minaur shared the mood for the next season. I think this year I overdid it a bit and was injured when I was at a peak in terms of rating. But I definitely move in the right direction and feel great on the court.
So I hope to start the 2025th from scratch, in excellent shape, and continue to move along the same path that I have been going on for the last year.
I am aiming at work, on improvement. The guys are so powerfully hit on the ball that I have to adapt, develop, and if I want to be among the best, it remains only for the sake of working. This is the plan.
I most of all want to perform well in Australia, so I do everything to come there in the best mood. I want to go to the peak of physical shape [to Australian Open]. I hope I can show my best tennis there.
Recall, in 2024, de Minaur reached the fourth circle of Australian Open, where in five sets he lost to Andrei Rublev.
