Jordan Binnington will be the starting goalkeeper of the Canadian national team. The goalkeeper of St. Louis will be released in the start of the maple for the first match of the tournament of the four nations against Sweden. His replacement will be Eddin Hill from Vegas, and Sam Montembo from Montreal will remain outside the application for the game.  
He is very happy. This guy is confident in himself, he wanted to take this place, ”said the head coach of Canadian John Cooper.  
In the current season, 31-year-old Binnington spent 39 matches in the NHL regular season for blues (15 victories, 89, 7% of sves, reliability coefficient 2, 69).  
Canada Match - Sweden will be held on February 12 in Montreal (the beginning of Moscow time - February 13 at 04:00).
